At the Floristic Research Center of the Apennines (Monastero San Colombo – Barisciano, AQ)

Under the guidance of a CRFA botanist and chefs expert in traditional and creative cuisine, you will learn to know, collect and cook the wild herbs of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park, according to traditional recipes... with a pinch of imagination... in the splendid setting of the Park, between S. Stefano di Sessanio and Campo Imperatore.

The course participation fee is €30 and includes: insurance, dinner on Saturday, lunch on Sunday, stationery material for the "Recipe Book".

For friends and relatives, the price for dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday is €15 each.

The fee does not include: packed lunch, overnight stay. Travel for the excursion will take place with the participants' own vehicles.

To register (by October 5th) it is necessary to make a bank transfer of €15.00 to the current account in the name of Terra Italica, IBAN IT44U0605503600000000001295 (reference: Corso Phytoalimurgia) Then send an email with the subject: “Membership in the Phytoalimurgia Course” to address info@terraitalica.it specifying: name, surname, origin, code of the bank transfer made, telephone number and email address for any communications. The course will be carried out regardless of the number of participants. Maximum 20 members.

Plan

Saturday 7 October:

9.30 am: welcome at the San Colombo Monastery (Barisciano, AQ)

10.30 am: departure for the excursion, between S. Stefano di Sessanio and Campo Imperatore, for the recognition and collection of herbs

1.00 pm: packed lunch (not provided by the organization)

2.30 pm: return for herb processing, preparation and cooking

8.30pm: enjoy your meal! EDUCATIONAL DINNER, open to friends and relatives, in the splendid location of the deconsecrated church of Santa Maria D'Asprino, with the logistical support of the San Colombo Restaurant.

11.00pm Greetings and kisses

Sunday 8 October:

10.00 am: compilation of the “Recipe Book”

12.00: preparation of lunch with the herbs collected the previous day

1.30pm: enjoy your meal! EDUCATIONAL LUNCH, open to friends and relatives, in the splendid location of the deconsecrated church of Santa Maria D'Asprino, with the logistical support of the San Colombo Restaurant.
